   Kimball Antique 1895 Upright Piano Very Good Condition

You are bidding on a original 1895 Kimball Upright Piano, is a style 5 upright and
made out of solid mahogany wood. The serial number is No 46137. Piano hood can be
raised to enhance keystroke sound. All keys are ivory and in working order on
keyboard. Needs tuning due to having been moved several times over the years. Has
been maintained in storage to help prevent unnecessary damage to keys, keyboard,
felt, hammers and strings. Solid brass core inside where strings are attached. Three
brass pedals at base of piano with all 3 in good working order. Has rollers on back of
piano to help make moving easier. Piano bench has lift top and also made out of
mahogany. Has a burned mark on top of cushioned area due to my trying to iron on it.
Piano does have some scratches and some unknown marks on body, probably due to
moving from place to place, but overall condition of piano is very good.

The Vintage piano shop appraised value is $7,800

Buyer to arrange and pay for the shipping and

The Kimball imprint on the inside says; W.W. Kimball Co. Patented Sept. 24, 1895
A brass plaque inside says; World's Colombian Exposition Award to W.W. Kimball
Company This firm deserves the Greatest Commendation for Superlative Merit and
Variety of Exhibits, and for also having attained the Highest Standard of Excellence in
all branches of their manufacture. THE ONLY MANUFACTURERS THUS HONORED
The Colombian Exposition was in Chicago from May to October of 1893.
Seven and one-third Octaves. Three strings and Agrafee. Fine mahogany case with
raised sculptured panels. Continuous hinges on top and fall board.
